For the record. Putting your car in the dishwasher is a stupid thing to do.

Up load your pictures then copy the IMG tag... there are 4 different ones to choose from after its downloaded. The img tag is the one on the bottom.

Then paste it in your reply...

That's how lazy people do it. I actually got it from some local team racer around here. Last time I did it. I ended up taking it completely apart anyway. So it would have been just as easy to clean it as far apart as it was anyway.

I tend to replace bearings that are toast in my 1/8 scale. I did switch to ceramic bearings and they seem to last longer. I see a lot of guys at the track clean their nitro cars with running water. This is a bad idea cause rust will form in places you don't see and will make tearing down the car difficult, and this tends to flush the grease out of your bearings.

You may want to clean the motor out once in a while. How often will depend on where you run since indoor clay tracks are really clean and running outdoors on dirt or sand is usually much harder on equipment.

Here's a video of Tekin Motor Maintenance.

Nice video! Thanks for posting that. I hadn't even thought of searching for that.

What's with that servo horn? The kit has a good single sided one. The one with the F for Futaba, fits it.

You really need to lengthen your red motor wire. With chassis flex and what not that's bound to be a problem.

Lmao is it really upside down? I turn the motor toward the esc so motor wire problem fixed. Put new servo horn on as well. Anything else?
