I think it is more critical to practice, practice and practice with a consistent feeling setup that works is the way to improve yourself most of the time. The main reason I purchased it for my losi was the fact I had thrown every setup change at it and it still would not enter a corner decent enough. Losi finally did fix this with a new rear shock tower to change the roll center positions. It's all about driver feel and until you get the feel of the vehicle, I would not spend the money. I believe the rc8 is a great feeling vehicle out of the box for my driving style, so I myself do not see a need for introducing any type of change into the equation.
thanks interesting and good info. I'm def interested in the details of how they changed the rear shock tower and the engineering behind that.

I'm definitely spending less money and more time practicing. Practicing is actually saving me money

i wish, i cant never find rides to the track. I get out there maybe once every two weeks, and ive always been a bit nervous to race haha. I have plans to start biking out there, even though its ~100miles round trip. Ive done 50miles round trip with my rc gear strapped to my back, and i can easily do 100miles on the bike, so we will see haha

The rear shock tower camber link locations where changed to allow the vehicle to rotate around the theoretical imaginary center axis more freely in a three dimensional perspective. Lamens terms, it turns when you expect it to now.

If some pics don't make it around before next week, I'll hijack Meltons car for a few minutes and take some pics at Psycho Nitro
