The capacitor needed to stabilize the receiver power for use with these servos, is that the same as what is needed on the ESC? Can I just buy a replacement Tekin power cap and solder it to a receiver battery plug, and stick it in the aux on the receiver? Or should I just buy the Spektrum that is pre wired?

Well i think Savox is good with a lot the good write up here, but one think i hate on their Ad, its very confusing, that buy above $50 + free shipping + Free T-shirt.....

Those only applies to US customer and not International customer, when i tried to buy one online, i was shocked when i was about to check out, i was billed for the shipping, WTF,

they should change that advertisement, its very confusing, good thing i double check my order before i hit continue payment.

I asked them to change it, but who knows if they will hear me out, im just a minority customer.

go for the trade-in deal, $20 off per servo & buy the shirt, more than covers the shipping & shirt

I suggest a 1257TG or 1258TG.

I have 1257 in a b4 and the 1258 in a SC10. Awesome servos.

Exclamation

Just blew out a 1256TG in last night's main. I emailed Savox USA to see how I can go about getting this thing exchanged, repaired, etc. Anyone else experience a problem? It was running great for a whole 3 race days... We'll see how great (or bad) Savox's customer service is.

1 full day since my email has been sent. No response.
Phone calls made to their posted number, no answer and quite strange voicemail recording.

I'm not impatient, just posting as the days go by. No choice but to continue to wait.

Time to go back to Hitec?

no but i think i would work ok... i run the 58 throttle and 68 in steering.. both in buggy and truggy.. the 58 feels as it could halde the steering duties of a buggy.. as for truggy it might be a tad light...

switch over from futaba and i feel the savox are equal or a tick faster then a compared futaba... just mt thoughts.. jeremy

Go back to who you bought it from. They are supposed to have a warranty exchange. They will replace it no questions asked. Keep us updated though on what happens though. I think others have had them replaced when they set endpoints wrong, I would like to find out what the outcome is good or bad.
KEEP US POSTED good or bad!!!!
