To me it sounds the same as mine. I can't tell the difference between yours and mine.

Question guys....
My buggy may have 2 hrs total run time on it, and it appears that on the front diff housing where the bearing from the driveshaft sits, is wore out! There's a lot of play between the housing and the bearing! Is this a problem area on these? It just seems like it's a little too early for the bearing housing to fail !
The rear also has a little play, but nothing like the front.

I HAD THAT KIT! I loved it so much. Long gone though, don't recall what happened to it.
That is amazing that you will be getting yours running again. Post some pics of it for me, and a running vid would be great. Let me know if you ever want to sell it, total memories!

Since my RX8 is away back to the states for repair i'm without car for now. Well thats what i thought till my folks just phoned and told me they found my old car up in the loft.....

I'll pick it up on Monday. Super excited as i thought i'd given it away years ago. Still got everything thing to go with it from the sound of things, even the optional slick tyres!! Just hope the electronics are still working!

Anyone have the FT rear hub carriers? Mine have small holes perpendicular to the Outer Hinge Pins. The holes are threaded as if for a grub screw. These holes are NOT on the plastic stock ones. Can't imagine wanting to attach it to the hinge pin. But what are the for, and are they supposed to be on the forward or rearward side of the car? The carriers are otherwise identical.
Carrier is upside down in the pic to better show the holes.

The issues are worked out with the tekins. We have 4 of them and not a single problem. Randy or Ty will probably easily speak to this. Also, Gregg, it's quicker to just call and get the RA number or use the live chat instant support during normal business hours on their website. I hate to say it, but I am pretty confident now that any problems with tekins are user error in programming the speed control.

Just from watching the guys at the track yesterday trying to run 2 classes at the same time. Race 1/8th, turn marshall the next race, Race 1/10th turn marshall the next race. They didn't even have time to work on things broken, and sometimes had to drop out of the next race because they were running back to back. Im too lazy for that. I don't mine turn marshaling at all. But they were pretty busy. Dont think Im going to do it. And I have 4 cars now.

Mine has a little bit of play. But there isn't any way of telling hoe much you have without seeing it in person. Or a video.
