All orders completed ans shipped today, along with "two" tooling sets tested. Allways nice to have many sets durring testing.Goes hand-n-hand here.
Paul Jerry and Rick shipped. Kevin tomorrow.
Ricks 11 set order all acceptable condition except for 1 with broken piston skirt. Please watch for that before shipping for service. it no doubt effects performance and makes set reconditioning-resizing service unworthy. Rick, other sets honed 3 with deeper liner scratches honed out well and all with the specified tightness you requested. Thanks

Thanks Ray for the oustanding reconditioning of my 2 gal ninja motor that had a bearing come apart, that scored the piston and button, which i thought was going to need complete new PSR and button. HIGHLY RECOMEND RAY FOR YOUR ENGINE RESIZING, ETC.

Glade to have helped you Paul.
Actualy, the piston sealing surface was fine.Sleeve liner scratches honed out just fine, as I stated on repair invoice. Pitting at piston top and head button allso removed fine. I see quite a few special cases as Pauls, and most look as Pauls and the before and after pics on my website.

Thanks Monty
Your package did arrive today,as expected. The set showed sleeve liner surface finish issues....corrected. Along with piston having small issue with light scratches/burning (TWO) spots, One heavier than other, niether I would concider bad.Again, corrected. Finall reizing is a light-med tightness, expected to re-breakin reasonably FAST(with concideration your special request) resulting a great compression build and seal at combustion....Just like Monty likes it. Houston, We have CLEARENCE.

Ray i have an OS sleeve that has a very light scratch from a piston pin-clip coming off and ruining my piston(badly).
I do have another piston(not new) where i have installed a new rod as well as new bearing in the case since the pin left lots of metal pieces in the case and ruined the rod and possibly the bearings as well.
The engine now (which i didn't start yet) seems to have very low compression. As an OS fun i know that even with this low compression it will work but since i invested new rod and bearings in it i thought why not repinching it.
Do you thing it's worth repinching...even with the light scratch?
The piston looks like new.
How much life should i expect out from a light-medium pinch(will i be able to make up for the cost of new rod and bearings or save those for my other OS as spare parts?)??

Chris,
The relacement piston will relap in with existing sleeve, best with a honed liner. A light resized tightness works well the V-Spec engine model.Do check crank pin wear that it isn't more than 0.003" high+low mic reading. Send crank along with P+S set if you wish for my inspection.
With the maintenance you described I have seen V-Specs exceed 10 gallon engine life from New. I had one at around 11 still running.
I think your set will benafit my reconditioning-resizing service the set you descrbed here. Mabee some one with a similar expereance will chim in here.
Good luck
Kind regards

That was the most damaged P+S set you have sent me to date. Not even close to as damaged a set reconditioned-resized yesturday.
And I appreciate the heads up on that"Special Project" engine rebreakin. 5 tanks and almost totaly dialed back in. Good job on your part too.
I apreciate you guys for the orders coming In today, Rick, Javier, wilfredo,Vann,CR,Danny,Donnie. Takes a lot to keep this shop heated these days. Thanks All!!!!

Remember guys. If you purchase a used engine please know the history as to weather it has been resized, yada yada. know the used engines history. Received an P+S set the other day with sleeve out of round O.003".customer was suprised.Very very dificult to get a set back to snuff that has been runin again , wearing piston uneven. At the very least they can be a bitch re-breakin. Enough said.
Jason,Brent, and CR arrived saturday, serviced Sunday,Shipped Monday morning. All came out very nice.
Wilfredo, arrived today, serviced your Speed Tuned 21VZ-B V-Spec 2 World addition a light-Medium tightness. Removed the light liner scratches. Came out sweeeeet. realy did.Return ship back to PR in the morning.
I have fun in my shop....Thank You....Thank You very much

Chris, Best off to trust my judgement on resizing tightness per the engine model you choose to have serviced.

Monty, Thanks for the heads up on how things went last weekend. Good luck at the race with it this weekend coming. Its nice to get confirmation the results of my reconditioning-resizing process sooner than the normal 2-3 months after new engine model is released. Furthermore, I think the X7 could be one of the models that respond better to resizing process, than most. Especialy concidering the conditions that Piston+Sleeve set before my servicing has me convinced its a resiliant little bugger. We'll see
Kind regards,
Ray
