Sideways no move. I use a 0.25 mm thick double side tape. It holds the weights a long time and very good, but is also very good removeable. It is a TESA carpet tape with fibers in it.

No I am not selling them. Because they are too easy to make. All the carbon I use is from my old TC5 ITF chassis. It was scrubbed during the asphalt season and the radio plate was broken. So if you guys have some unused carbon (or other plastics, fiber material) lying around, a ruler and a dremel you will be able to do these things in a minute

Some of the UK Associated team have been running these for a while now, a kit of 8 of each thickness, 0.5mm, 1mm, & 2mm.. They work great and can be used throughout the car for arm mount spacing they also help to stop the mount rotating due to the larger surface area between block and bulkhead.
I believe CML distribution are thinking of producing them as a kit for retail.

Sounds like that's the REAL answer that Associated should be developing commerically.

Today the repair/maintenance of my car came to an end. I also concluded my rebuilds. The car has now new Lipo braces, a more centered battery position and carbon arm mount spacers all around.

The final work today was the build and install of a gear diff. I filled it with 1000cst oil and will try it with my unboosted 17,5t electronics on a high grip carpet on friday. I am really curious how it will perform, because I have no experience with gear diffs yet.

What spur gear are you guys using, boosted 17.5?

Just finished building the TC6. This is the first AE car that I have purchased since the TC3!

Happy that the build went well. No issues with parts, fit or assembly. All systems are go.

I'm currently using a Robinson Racing 84t 48p spur.

I cant understand why this kit comes with a 48p spur. What 64p gear are you guys using (size)?

96 should give you a good range either way around 4 FDR.
