Oh my god... I come back and... woooow! Avante re-release!! My first car 22 years ago!! Thank you Tamiya. I've just ordered one at my local hobby shop!! One question: i want run brushless motor (perhaps 10 turns), trasmission is enough to survive??? Thank you guys

I plan to run a brushless 13.5 but a 10.5 should be good also. A BL 10.5 would be about the same power as say a 16X2 - 19x1 brushed motor from back then all depending on the battery and ESC you run. Times have really change a lot in the past few years.

Just an update of my building progress. Car is completed except for painting the body. Will do that later today.
Here is my chassis fitted with the Tamiya Transpeed brushless 8.5t motor, hobbywing 60A esc and 2s 25c lipo.

Some pictures documenting the build in another thread.
He pointed out some small improvements between the vintage Avante & the 2011 version.

I have been tied up with work, even over the weekends
My Avante 2011 build progress is only up to a front & rear gearbox

Waigo in HK have one in their window with a coming soon sign. It looks too nice to use.... but what would be the fun in that.
Some shops on KWS (Kwongwa Street where most of the RC shops are) had them in stock. Prices ranged from $2550 to $2700 ($HK).
