You can get the motor/esc for the same price i'd pay for the motor.

Anyway, i'm frustrated. Can't do nowt till the Boca bearings arrive.

And i'm thinking about picking up a B44.1 so i can get on the local track....it's either that or a TC as they don't do 1:8....yet...

I'm the same way, I want another kit, I just can't decide on an Ofna GTP2e or a B4.1 1/10 2WD. That's a pretty cool class to race in too

And I know a lot of RC drivers. And I don't know anyone that runs $90 bearings in their buggy.

That ofna looks sweet! Local track does 1:10 on road mainly. Even held the scottish nationals a couple of times. Off road is split between 2wd & 4wd 1:10. They've got land for 1:8 offroad but they used to run a nitro class and a load of houses were built beside it resulting in complaints about noise so stopped it all. Just need to drum up enough interest in 1:8 electric and get the track sorted. May as well get a 1:10 for now so i can start competing but the on road's already well established and doesn't really appeal as much as the off road.

At least i'm sorted for 1:8 if/when it happens. 1:10 is a damn sight cheaper!

Any reason for preferring 2wd over 4wd?

I put a screw through one of the bearings on one of the front hubs so needed a replacement. Decent quality bearings over here (Abec 5's, same as i used in my board) cost about £10 for a pair so getting a full set of decent bearings for $100 kinda made sense. Buy right buy once.

How would you install them sticking out of the side? Do you mean turning the battery on it's side?

I turned it wires to the left side rear. Fits good, looks like the battery tray was cut out in case you needed to do this.

Yes, it's the same way for me. And I have Velcro on the sides of the body. Fits perfect sideways. I'd rather have the battery wires like that too.

post a pic if its not too much trouble. i dont plan on racing any ROAR events, makes me want a soft case pack to avoid any problems, not to mention theyre lighter!

Love my b4 . I mean only reallyweak point my friends and I have found are the stuck turnbuckle cups and the front bulkheads. I replaced all cuts with rpm ones and bought an alinimum bulkhead after the one I have in and the spare plastic ones break
