Gregg, can you turn the battery around so that the wires come out the front or does that interfere with the body?

Personally, I think you should run the battery with the wires in the rear. When you nose dive, all the force is not on the wires and solder which is a weak point.

You should never mount the battery such that any tension can be applied to the wires, regardless if the wires come out the front of the case or the rear.

16 minutes charged and balanced? Or just a quick charge - that is fast! Did you make a note of the internal resistance?

Mine just shipped, so another week or so for mine to arrive.

I always charge balance. And the battery wires are to the rear. Dont know if you can call 3.8 fully discharged or not. But that's all it took.

true but when the wires are in front, you are contending the bigger problem and the force of a lawn darting/nose diving car on the solder wire board. The battery slams forward onto the board repeatedly equating to batteries puffing more quickly and not lasting

Man, you guys are lucky in the states. My kit cost £330 alone. Motor/ESC - £300 etc. Basically anything you guys pay in dollars i pay in pounds. I'd love to book a holiday over to Cali with empty luggage on the way over!
