You'll find out when you hit a jump hard and your motor comes flying out.

Ease of settng gear mesh and noproblem with access to motor screws that never stay tight causing the mount to move.

Bah, I wasn't clear...

I'm running a 19t pinion.. but what brand should I get? Lots to choose from. I just want to make sure to get one that's going to fit right for a tekin 1900 in a Grid RC mount up against the kit 46T spur gear...

Im in the same boat, I dont have my mount yet, and Im not sure what pinions to get. Hot bodies was what they recommended.

I have the castle ones which are really short, Ill have to see when it gets here.

I'm doing well at indoor tracks with the 1900 geared at 19/46. Cool temps, fast laps, etc... But I still prefer the 2050 geared at 18 - 20/46 for outdoor tracks.

Here's our answer on the pinion question:

Robinson Racing 5mm Bore Extra Hard Steel Mod 1 Pinion Gear (19T)
rrp1219

Got the intel out in the main swimming pool.
