Honestly, I think a 4wd RTR from AE is possible. Replace all the CF parts with fiberglass (G-10), standard blue shocks, steel turnbuckles, dog bones F/C/R, old style motor mount, same brush less power plant and 2.4 radio in the other rtr cars. It would still be a little higher in price than the B/T4.1 rtr cars, but it's certainly possible. Be a nice way to introduce more ppl to 4wd racing. Just a thought...

The car is about the same, I was actually hoping they wouldnt do the same .1 treatment they did with the other cars, but o well I guess. Body looks nice, Wish more would have been changed, but if it aint broke dont fix it applies here.

Those mods aren't needed to make it a good 4 wheeler...

the front is now 3.5mm up from 3mm

Dont know about the old ones breaking easily though. the ones on my car are over 2 years old... besides a front arm snapping now and then when you clip something at high speed it does not break anything normal racing

The common parts I heard that broke where the front shock shafts and the front shock tower. This was probably from running into walls rather than parts failure.

Does anyone from AE know when the assembly manual will be available?

Shock shafts can break rather easily but mostly because they are mounted on the front of the arm. so when you bump another car hard enough it may hit the shock shaft and not the bumper. I stopped hitting stuff and the problem went away. In 3 years I only had one front shock tower crack and one front top plate start to break. So I would say it's a pretty durable car to begin with. All the mods will just make it even better
