I've had a number of Novak products and all were great. I've never had an ESC fry and I've had quite a few, Novak, Tekin, Castle, even Futaba. Sure you'll get a bad one one in a while but I think many problems are caused by reverse polarity and over-gearing. Six blown ESCs would surely suggest pilot error.

I like their stuff ...
But ordering straight from them through Shoptron is a hassle.
Inventory on website is never acurate. They never know if its in stock untill 3 days later. Most of the stuff is not in stock. If you call in they say you have to wait 3 days if it is in stock else they cant tell untill 3 days later.
LIKE WTH ! If the other retailers would sell parts of the motors i would get it from them but most places sell whole motors.

In other words to get my order out it takes 3 days to see if yall have it, 1 day to process money and packing, another 1 misc day to get it out and 3-5 for mail to arrive.

AE it Paid, if everything clears the same day, it goes out tomorrow. I get it with in 2-3 days.
Tekin is the same way once I paid its 2-3 days until i get my item.

We are not a retailer and process orders only Mon-Fri. Orders for currently distributed items are processed by retailers/hobby shops across the country, who also process Mon-Fri. We have no control over their inventory levels. Occasionally, we do run out of an item, but it is expedited and shipped within 3 (M-F) days.

talking about a bad streak, a guy at the club got a lrp ssx tc version 2, did not accelerate, tried in other cars, same prob. the lhs owner gave him a stock spec, same problem, again double checked with other cars, third esc same problem. thats qc... and all this in 2 days! the lhs owner even said that the 1st batch of version 2s from lrp all had a fault but were sold nontheless. lrp is going downhill lately. my mmpro has a bad bec, my gtb is really reliable, next esc will be a novak or tekin, probably the latter.

Monday morning put in order. 3 days later order is processed. and Guess what on friday they email me they don thave the item.

I then cancel the order and made a new order on Sat evening.
Monday the got my order. same crap 3 days later they say order processed.
And WOW The item is out of stock.

No biggy i cancel the order got a different motor. on sunday. Order recieved on Monday, same deal again processed 3 days later, and i dont get email till friday morning. Oh GUESS WHAT OUT OF STOCK. That a complete of 3 weeks give or take.

This has nothing to do with Bad batches ... Just whoever selling stuff on ur website, being lazy not to list the items as out of stock or something.
Now tell me if that wouldn't anoy you ? Even as a Novak representative ?

I'm just curious why you would continue to buy through that channel? Sounds like a PITA. Why not support your LHS or buy online at a standard retailer?

Can you be more specific---what motor are you describing? I have forwarded your comment (and a link to this thread) to both management and Customer Service, but it would be helpful if you could be more specific with @ dates and products you ordered. Were you dealing directly with us each time or a Hobby Shop fullfiller (SAT)?

Trust me---this annoys me and I haven't even ordered anything. You can PM me here anytime with these complaints and I will research them and publish the CS response in the thread. Complaints (about anything) received in a timely fashion are far easier to research, but I will check this out when you provide me the additional info.

Non of the LHS have em here.
All they carry is Green Castle Sensor less motor that are useless for my application.

Most standard retailers dont have the motor i want or or the stators by them selfs I want. And i want 2 motors and 1 stator in one shot but i gave up.
Only place to get stators and god price is form Shoptron their main page shop cart

But no hurt feelings just annoying that even their "direct" shopping card on Novak Website don't even know whats in stock.

I am try Lurps

PS: Novak's Service crew is fast as hell though, to get replacement Gaskets and such as lightining fast 2-3 day turn around.

I have posted on this forum for many years and receive PMs from customers regularly. If I had been notified in a timely fashion, I would have researched the transaction and helped this customer get the products he ordered.

As I said---all orders for distributed Novak products are shipped by Hobby Shops around the country; we only ship Novak Exclusive products. Shopatron is a store interface---all orders received for currently distributed products are shipped by Hobby Retailers. This gives those dealers an opportunity to fill additional orders for Novak items that they may not receive from their local customers.

If you explain what you want, I can help you. Our inventory control in SAT must be all handled manually---so there can be human error.

For example, let's say we have available 5 P/N XXX in stock and we get overnight orders for 6---one more than we have. We cannot ship that last order for 3 additional days until we order up additional items from mfg. Our items are all manufactured here; we don't just have them laying around....

Novak customer support is second to none and in my book that says it all, I have had issues with other companies and got nothing but grief and a month or so turn around when they helped at all. I really believe Novak puts the local club racer first with as much support as possible. Novak or nothing.
