Man there are a ton of new people coming in this thread lately!!!!!! I think the new line is finally starting to stand up and be noticed for the awesome engines they are.

I now have over 15 gallons through my gen 5, 5port. Changed the rod twice and ceramic bearings were put in at 4 gallons. Never been pinched It does desperately need a new crank though and the carb does have the newer needles in it.

Both of my GX race engines are around 3 gallons and at my last pro series event I did my last pit in my main and shortly after my receiver went out sending my truggy into failsafe. A marshall pulled my car off the track. I then went and marshalled an electric 10min triple A. When I went to pick my car up it was still sitting there idling away. Needless to say myself and several others were very impressed.

What i like about go engines is the fact they are so cheap in comparison to the bigger brands and run in most cases even better with more HP and top end. Earlier this year i bought 3 go engines for $150 shipped to my door. One was a 3 port (barely used, still had tons of pinch, had to use a heat gun to get it turned over on the starter box), a 7 port (brand new still in shrink wrap) and a 5 port (bought it as a 7 port, but sent it in to be repinched and was told it was a 5 port) I ran the 5 port before i sent it in and it ran great, tons of power but it was lacking pinch like the other 2 i had, sure it still had some but i felt it was time to spend the $30 and get it repinched, and sure enough that was all it needed. So i'm left with 3 nearly new engines for 1/2 the price of 1 new decent engine. After a couple gallons of fuel, they are running like a dream and i should be able to make it through next season before replacing any major parts on them.

These engines are absolutely a beast, i've completely ripped up all the grass in my backyard tuning them which was never possible with the other engines i've run in the past. Of course the other engines were all much smaller (.15-.18) but still the power these engines produce is mind boggling. I can run tank after tank through them with no issues what-so-ever. Amazing engines at a remarkable price with epic power, its hard to beat that

I just bought a used D8B on here with a GO GX-5R .21 motor with 14 or so tanks run thru it. I went to the Go engines website, but couldnt find a listing for a manual to download. Any help would be appreciated on HS and LS needle stock setting, etc. I am running a Losi 350 on my other buggy a 8ight 2.0, and am stooked to try this motor out!! Besides Amain, were is the best place to buy replacement parts for the Go engines?

Doh! Saw that Ruune has his link to the Go U.S.A. website!!

Later,
Matt
