Rayaracing sleeve resizing and tooling
#346
sorry for blowing up your thread Ray.
Monty, You live in Oregon, Ray is in NY. If I send you my engine for an inspection then you have to send the P/S to Ray in NY I am now looking at a month turn around. Thats what I meant by all in one place. Its no big deal. Ray can pinch it up snug for me and if it grenades in a gallon Its still a gallon more than I have on it now. I think it will be fine though as there is no slop in the bushing and the pin looks good the only thing I am not sure about is if the rod is stretched..I'll take my chances

Jaz240,
Ship the piston and sleeve, with conrod attached to piston and included in package. Also, you can include crankshaft in package and I would be happy to document crankpin and conrod bushing wear for you. This only takes me a few minutes, and is an extra service I offer everyone that asks. Payment and shipping details are on resizing-reconditioning order form http://www.rayaracing.com/orderresize.htm Thank You
BCQUICK,
Your V-SPEC and P5 on back shipping desk , second from left, next to Kevin's S7 that required head removal from sleeve.
And NO I do not have a problem with anyone on this thread. I didnt start this thread anywho

sweet, iam surprised you were able to do anything with the OS
i think youve done that one before plus a couple clamp style touch ups.
not exspecting much out of that one but whatever i get out of it is a bonus.
Thanks

The biggest issue with VSPEC is the liner shallow scratching, that honed out very nicely and seal should be fine with resizing a few tenths. Wasn't too loose and sleeve wasnt altered in size only a few tenths last time. The P5XLT is much looser, and with same level of light liner scratches. Will be a tad tighter fit as the nature of good seal Novarossi verses VSpec. Hope those other clamp repairs ran well for you. Their allways a little tougher to get a uniform resizing with the kinks and bends allways present. Could be BEACH
but results goood in the past reports from many other customers. Ilias, I got your email. Please let me know after package is delivered your home in Greese.
FOR WHAT EVER ITS WORTH Please note that with above posts Monty and Jaz , I think just a missunderstanding of the past. No big deal ...Let go Im sure. Fact is Monty has ran/raced many resized piston and sleeve sets. He has done rebuilds for customers re-assembeling engines with resized P+S sets. Furthermore, Monty and I have talked on the phone quit a few times where he inlightened me on performance results/tuning charactoristics different type resizings provided him. Has been very benificial and an asset to the quality work I'm doing this year. Monty is on the West Coast. Mark from PowerHouse is here on the East coast. Half dozen one six the other, they are both good choices servicing your complete engine.

Ray I'm sending my Nova plus 4 for in for its 3rd pinch. I'm going to next day it and include next day postage for return shipping. We have our big race at my local track (Family Hobbies, Vineland, N.J.) this Sunday so I need it back and broken in for the weekend. I turned on a few guys from our area to your service and they are all very happy with your work just like I am.
I will fill out the form on your site also.
Thanks again
Russ G.
