Go-Tech Engines Thread
Hi Matt,
That was a good way you described the 086 on the MG66. It's not that it boosts the bottom end, it just gets the MG on the pipe faster.
The 2072 brings on the power sort of turbine smooth, where as the 086 gets the MG going with more of a rush, so the bottom end "seems" stronger.
All I know is I like it
. It suits my current driving style, plus the extra minute + run time I am now getting is a real added bonus too. Don't you just love this sport
And yeah - take that so called friend off your Xmas card list Matty. No more MG laps for him

I wondered how long it would be before another MG man took up that offer.I don't know what sort of 086 pipe Inferno has, but I am running the Dynamite Platinum 086 HS Hard Anodised model. That's what your after, or the equivalent of. I think you would like one Gizzy. Make your MG very happy
Can't actually use it officially for racing here as it's not an EFRA approved pipe but our league races never bother to enforce the pipe rules anyway. So long as it's cheap I thought I might try it anyway.

There are a few EFRA approved 086 pipes around, such as the RB.
