im was planning on, just getting the 2.0 t chassis not converting the whole truck.

all you have done is talk down on the 1.0!....i bet you theres acouple of us on here that would put you to shame with our 1.0's....dont let any1 tell you that your truck is out dated!....buy the 2.0 t chassis and rear drive shaft! then buy a proline bulldog body for the mugen mbx-6t because the holes are not predrilled!....then take the rear body mounts and mount them 1 hole down and you are golden! you dont need all that other stuff! you can slowly upgrade your truck to the 2.0 for cheap off of ebay!...just buy piece by piece!.....your truck will be alot better with just the chassis!

THE TRUCK IS OUTDATED - 1.0 and 2.0 are totally different trucks. They handle totally different. They are wider, bigger and stronger. If you are a club racer then the 1.0 will be fine. But at a competition level, the 1.0 will not cut it. Hell one of the top guys in my class started the season with a 1.0 and he could not keep up. Sold that crap and got a 2.0 now hes back at the top of the class. Just suck it up and buy a 2.0 and be done with it. Unless the person driving the 1.0 is a world class driver, it wont cut it.

Then YOU aren't setting the 2.0 up correctly.

LOL the truck isn't any wider. More room to pass??? LMAO. The arms are wider and the wheel offset is narrower. The truck is the same width. It is longer though.

And it may be heavier, but it sure doesn't feel like it out on the track where it matters.

BTW this is the 8T 2.0 thread. We all have 2.0's and most of us had 1.0's. We KNOW the differences.

Thought it was funny when in the Horizon Hobbies preview vid what the dude says about the 8T2.0 RTR "It took me three years to get my version one to handle as good as this does out of the box!!" And that was the RTR...

I have no problem with you asking questions here. I just LMAO at the 1.0 is better than 2.0 argument that some people like to make.

tc5, I'd just run what you have for the rest of the year and get a 2.0 when you're ready. I've seen some REALLY worn out chassis' still run fine.
