Its Almost like you need a little piece of CF where that screw has the potential to ruin a race.....

well i learned to make sure, the screw is tight and locktite too and alum tape on the back of the tank which helped big time !

i never had a clutch screw come loose after that.

Na, it would ruin the race anyway. If that screw backs out enough to pop through the tank, you're screwed anyway(no pun intended) . My clutch was totaled after that one, along with the bell and spur.

Cool little piece though Nick.

I run in the Forward position in truggy so my screw touches All the time and the Plate would actually keep the screw in place if it were to ever back out....So you might be "Screwed" meanwhile ill still have a chance. (Yes ive had the screw work loose and was still able to finish the race, But did notice Something was going terribly wrong LOL)

Wow, yeah that would put that screw right up against the tank. Makes sense to me. But damn, you got lucky if you made it through a race with that screw backing out. I noticed a slight grinding noise about half a lap before it started shooting sparks.

Yeah it's wild. You'll see a spark or two coming from the spur rubbing the face of a jump, etc... on occasion, but it is quite a sight seeing a whole trail.

Yep they need some time to break in after being rebuilt. You can break the diffs in the way the manual explains to help accelerate the process, but they will still need some break-in on the track to feel perfect.

Hi Guy's

I think a while back someone posted up photos on where to take material out of your front steering knuckles with measurements to give you more steering throw from standard and would I please be able to get them again please.

Thanks in advance.
