Need to straighten out a misconception I may be having. I have the adjustable hinge pin holders installed. I have it set up as +2 kickup. Is this adding to or subtracting from my turn in? I am guessing its doing the opposite as adding the 10 degree spindles. From what I have heard the 10's help out alot with turn in so I would imagine then I need neg. kickup to achieve similar results.I do run on smooth high grip tracks for the most part... Thanks for the help!

i was wondering how do you guys get, the front arms level on the eight ? do you just crank down on the preload, i mean i have my ride height at 28 mm in the front or is this just normal, because the front shocks are short ?

my shocks are filled up to the top too, i have droop also in the front.

There is a 3/32 droop screw that is or suppose to be on each arm front and rear and this is where you set the droop of each arm and make them even....

i know that but it still doesnt make, them leveled i have my shocks at equal leagth i measure them with my caliber.

this is my eight -t 1.0 by the way, i dont know if it does it with the eight -t 2.0.

I'm not sure what you are trying yo achieve. Do you mean "arms level" as a ride height setting? I don't use that method of setting ride height, but to set ride height, you use spring preload. I personally measure with a ride height gauge instead of using an eyeballed setting like "arms level". Front ride height on the 1.0 should be at 36mm. Rear should be at 38mm. Rear is measured on the bottom of the chassis under the rear differential, and front is measured behind the kick-up in the front of the truck. You shouldn't have any problem getting those ride height settings out of the truck without "cranking down" on the preload collars too much.

Ok maybe I misunderstood, or do not understand what you are asking.

Jammin is correct with the preload.

no i do the ride height with the preload not the droop, im talking about when you have the fuel in the tank and everything else, and sit the truggy on the ground the arms go above leveled.

i heard from other people thats normal, i can get the rear arms to get leveled

Still confused. Are you talking about one arm being lower than the other? If everything else is set correctly, that is because of weight balance. One side may be a bit heavier than the other. Most likely on the fuel tank side with a full tank. It isn't anything to worry about.

Yes I think i understand - that is normal and as soon as it is given gas, the back will sink and the front will raise. Just set using a ride height tool and your will be fine.

no both arms being the same level, but token said its fine i can get the ride gauge to side and touch under the front end, but in the rear when i try to set it to 38mm it wont touch at all i side it right in the middle.

no matter what preload i have, im using the losi ride height gauge.
