Thats what I was asking but no one seems to know. Seems like they would cause a lot of wind drag.

I ran mud guards on my strr and noticed no ill side effects. Any change will be negligible at best, I mean I would think running different bodies, or heavier/lighter wheels/tires would make a larger difference. I will be running them all week next week at the AMS so I will try and report back. I honestly believe the advantage over the rear of the truck not getting dirty or packed with mud (if it happens to be wet at your track) will be a greater benefit.
Almost everyone I know runs them on buggies, and mugen they come in the kit. So I wouldn't think they change much.

Nope, have not noticed a difference and the past race I went to wa VERY windy, like 50mph gust. Once you put the body on, the wind goes right over them.

Man you guys are getting pretty techincal in here. Pretty soon I can see a wind tunnel test. JK. The mud guards do exactly what they say. They keep the mud off. I have run flat carbon fiber guards on my buggy and curved mugen guards on the truggy and then took the guards off and the only real difference was my driveshafs got mud on them without the guards.

Hey guys are the instructions with the Losi adjustable hinge pin braces still incorrect? I remember when they first came out that the numbers were wrong on the sheet.

What's the correct numbers for a 3/3 setting?

this is still skeptical as the adjustable rear inner raises the roll center 1mm which has been confirmed by Drake and a few others....so i honestly use the #'s as a guideline not set in stone #'s....i still refer to it as a 3/3 rear end when in reality its a 3.15A/3.25T

Rear Toe-In adjustment
Position....Insert #....total toe-IN....REAL total

Inside........1.............1............1.65
Inside........0.5..........1.5.........2.15
Middle........0.............2............2.70
Outside......0.5..........2.5..........3.25
Outside......1.............3.............3.80

Rear Anti adjustment
Position....Insert #....total Anti....REAL total

UP..........1...............3............3.15
UP.........0.5.............2.5..........2.60
Middle......0.............2.............2.05
Down.......0.5.........1.5...........1.50
Down.......1.............1.............0.95

it raises the roll center, but doesnt change the anti squat numbers. 3 Anti squat is 3 antisquat.. the stock plates lower it in the rear, the adjustables raise it in the front.

those tweeked #'s were measured by a machinist in comparison with the stock alum plates when the adjustable's first came out as some felt the #'s didn't match up...i've just copied and pasted them over the years as guys ask....So Dont shoot the messenger.
