The truck just feels better without the skid on there. That was my experience anyway. I used to swear by DE skids... Not anymore. Still lovin my bumpskids though.
What gen skids were you running? The old DE's used to crunch up and lip causing the skids to catch on jumps.

I've used all of them. Was using the XD's at the time.

Are you guys running single rubber shield, double rubber shield or no shield on the exhaust bearing and just allowing the oil from the exhaust to lubricate them?

Weird. I guess the sharp angle of some jumps make the skids catch. If I ever encounter the donkey kick problem, I'll check my skids.

Sorry bro, the mods already told us not to be PMing each other that kind of info. We're in big enough trouble as we speak.

I prefer the non shielded Muffler Bearing. It allows for a smoother feel with higher RPM's. They seem to last better too with more lubrication getting to them.

Too true. If you have to ask, you'll never know.

Running the skids, I don't think that is the problem. The shocks have about a half gallon on them. Would going down in shock help with the kick up per say?

Are you using a full ceramic bearing? The top end is just insane with those.

To quickly check take the skids off for a lap or two. If you're still donkey kicking try raising you ride height a bit.

You think so. Intercooled is the way to go.Bearings last forever. I had a ceramic bearing blow right thru my new muffler.

Let me rephrase the question. Will lowering my shock oil in the rear help with the rear end kicking up on jumps?

No it will make it worse, the chassis slapping is caused by you're truck being too low or being to soft in the rear add some more shock preload and it should stop
