Thumbs up

Had another decent race with my JL.... Qualified 2nd. Finished 3rd in the first race of the N.G.S.N.S. Motor ran flawless all night. Got a lil' warm in the main but, didn't miss a lick.

Just like electric some people like different levels of power in their cars. Does a more powerful motor= a win?? nope more times than not a less powerful motor will be easier to drive and yield quicker laps. Thats why we have choices. Personally i like my car to be a missile on the straightaway always have.

it's all good bud In the end, were all rootin' for the same engine ( modded or not ). Mine's at nearly 3 gallons now and keeps turning heads. OFNA nailed it with this one

Yeh I seen that guy. His stock JL is pretty slow. I would go for modded as well. It does look nice in that new shiny Hyper 9 though.

I'm jus messin witcha we both know modded mills are for dudes that need to compensate for lack of skillz on the track good to see you start a new thread since this got away from the point of the engine a good" BUDGET" priced engine

Can't we all just get along? I'm 49 yrs old and I can't seem to grasp the turmoil on this thread...maybe,I've gotten to the point in my life where I could give a rats ass less about DRAMA! Why do the folks have to act like whinny lil' girls?

You know, whether my JL is stock or modded doesn't or hasn't effected the knowledge I've gained on this motor from this thread. In stock form this motor whips my P5s asses hands down...in mod form I would hope for a lil' more bottom and longer run time. The motor absolutely screams on any straght and is smooth in the technical parts.

Either way...the thing says JL21 on the head...let's talk!

I checked out Easyriders new thread....2 pages so far....drama and sct racing so far(both subjects are mute to me!) Nothing about the JL.

Ananda, I saw where you had posted pics of your 2.0....you've built a fine looking racer.

Default The Mod

Anyone have a dyno of a stock JL and also anyone have a dyno of a modded JL? I'm the type that resides upon factual information... I'm happy to send my incoming JL to have modifications but I need to see some sort of results. I know it will be faster but that means nothing to me on a race track.. I'm more concerned about a broader power-band and mileage(which mods don't help in most cases).

If anyone has dynos post them!
