i agree its a good mill, but how do u expect people to bring diff pipes to a race, lets get real majority of racers are not sponsored, and pipes are not cheap, i think i will jump one tooth, and the track i run on , has a long straight in the back, i will loose easy 2 seconds there and by the time i get to the end, i bet this motor will be peeked out, has lots of bottom end , but u do need top end at times, i will test it next week at my local track, good motor so far, just have to see how it actually runs on a track now

after a good gallon on it, IMO it has all the rpm of a speed, I saw maifield run a box stock(same motor I have) at silverstate and the thing revved way higher than a speed, in his own words "it was almost too fast" Then it just keeps getting better after that. Be patient, you will be pleased.

Maybe someone can help me out right quick...I just picked up one of these motors this last weekend,used..and about a gallon on it. Its in fantastic shape.I havent run it yet, but i did look inside it and realized it still has the 2 head shims...So i need to know...what is the size of the single shim so I can get one put in? I thought maybe I had read it further back in the post somewhere but cant seem to find it. Thanks in advanced!

Has anyone used the 0801 or jp-3 on this motor and how did they work? i know that the 2035 is said to be the best pipe all around but they are not
available and i had to back order it and have these two pipes and just wanted to know if there was any info on these thanks.

Just ran my first race with my motor, have to say I'm VERY happy with it. Its pretty much the first motor I've gotten that was brand new. Ran a 5port gotech prior (really liked it but it was time for a new motor) I ran the reedy with a re11 and p4 plug. Only had to pit once in a 15min main, very happy after having a 5min motor before :P temps were around 240. I'm running it in a 8ight 2.0 rtr kit thats pretty much the same setup as out of the box as far as diff oils and gearing.
I'm very happy

Im actualy thinking about getting a Reedy engine once my V-spec gives up, which might take a while.
Did they fix the frontbearings on the newer reedy engines? Ive heard they had the same problem with air leaks as the OS engines used to.

set idle with venturi out. As the venturi gets smaller, you shouldn't even be able to see the gap, maybe a little with a 7mm, but if you use a 6mm it pretty much dissapears. A smaller venturi will change the feel of the bottom end but shouldn't have any effect on the idle.

a buddy of mine bought my reedys that needs bearings...ive been trying to hunt the bearings down...i know they are 14x25x6...i noticed on tko's website it states that this size is not for the reedy...is there a reason why???...what bearings is everyone putting in???...he is not a ceramic fan so hes just looking for a regular bearing...boca has them for 24 bucks...but if the tko bearing works its only 14...anyone know whats going on??
