Is there a 2072 alternative? Is the Go 2072 the same as the APlus and EFRA versions?

ie; Losi RE11 = Losi 2071 = older OS T-2050. Just wondering.

The Go and Alpha are the same pipes. They are both EFRA. The Go version is less expensive

Yep - made in the same outsourced factory.
I believe Alpha is working on a hard coated version of the 0801 and 2072 pipes, but are having some trouble with the quality control of the coating, or something like that. They should be on the market soon when they get it sorted.

The EFRA 2072 is GO TECH only.
The APlus EFRA 2072 also all the same GO.but it's only 75 sets in the world.
Due to logo grave on muffler was wrong from factory.

So there's no alternative pipe then?

Looks like the best value can be found when you buy a new engine in combo form. I'll do that when I buy my next Go Tech ... the GX-5R

Yes. The GX Combo Kits are one of the best deals going at the moment for sure.

Answer-RCUSA welcomes Massive Mods to the US!
I am or I have a partial sponsorship from them. And guess what I run? Thats right an mg-66. Crazy power! So if Rex[also known as racer 22] has one at dealer cost,GET IT! Hook it to a 2072 go pipe and expect 12 plus minutes of run time. [13:27]Thats what I am getting out of my xray xb808 2010 with a 17 tooth over-sized clutch bell, also sold by answer rcusa! And Rex is also one nice gent to deal with!

You didn't say how new your motor was. Almost all of the Go motors come with the idle gap wider than you would use after you get it broken in. It works well for break in because your motor is rich but when you start getting it to race tune you should set the idle gap. Take off the air cleaner and take out the carb insert, set the idle gap opening to around .7mm. Try your low speed needle about 1.5 turns in from flush, if you are leaning out the bottom end then richen the top some or your right it will get hot. Your motor should sit and idle for a few seconds and then not die out when you accelerate.
