Been there, done that. I even used shock mounts on esc between the RCPD top plate mount. No help

If you, or anyone has any good ideas to improve our 1/8 brushless class please let me know. Over the next year I will be working on designs to release. It's a lot of work and I will be doing it in my spare time until I am out of school. It would be cool to see what other peoples ideas are.

i have built two eletric buggies now and have had good luck with mounting esc with shock orings in between esc and center diff mount from rc designs. the o rings and mount help take the shock away from the esc. also when sodering wires to to motor and esc coil the wires a little two coils werk good to allow for movement. my first buggy is a year old the second is three months old and no problems. both buggies have alot of time on them.

The wire 'movement' is what is breaking the strands internally.

Ok apolgoies for missing that info. I would ask that you check the rotor in your motor, make sure it's not slipping. Next I would ask if you're a hard braker in regards to your driving style. You should not use your Epa's to control motor temps.

Randy, I did take out the rotor and it looks perfectly fine. I AM a bit of a hard braker though when I race. Is there a way to tame the braking to ease the heat? I don't need as much as I have.

chiro, I run 13/45 in my Losi with the 2050. Still plenty fast and it ran great that way at Rev and some of the local tracks here. Try 14 or even 13 and see if it changes a bit.

Ben that is a sick body/paint!

I have my switch mounted to the esc housing with a dab of shoe goo so that the "on" is forward.

I was going to mount it with a small screw when I had time but this has not posed any issues yet.
