Hi irgo, - finer adjustment on RPM delay:
Have you run the new software at your track and found "setting A" kicks in too early, and stepping to "setting B" is too late? If so, try adjusting the time delay to find a happy medium. They work together, so you should be able to find that happy place.

The rpm settings may look like large differences just looking at the numbers, but on the track the range is much finer than you'd expect.

As for a custom settable function, the possibility is there if it's needed in the future. Let us know if you get stuck between two RPM settings on the track and we'll add that to the BETA feedback.

Hi everyone - this is what I ended up at our today's club race:
track was 30m x 16m, quite fast good flowing - I belive we will have photos on our website later today so I'll pos them.
well settings with my 13.5t v3 are as on LED programming card:
1. 1
2. 5
3. 4
4. 7
5. 3
6. 1
7. 1
8. 1
9. 7
10. 1
11. 1
12. 6
13. 7
14. 1
15. 5

Gearing was 25t pinion / 85t spur on my Mi4LP - 6.12FDR
I had fan on my speedo - don't know if it was getting warm. Motor was quite warm but nothing extreme.

Just a question though while I have your attention Adam, had a devil of a job getting the software to update onto an Earlyish GT2.0 Pro took like forever whereas on my other speedo the update took maybe 20 seconds of frantic red light flashing , were the earlier ones built with slower EPROMS? Sorry was a bit deep all have worked OK but just wondered if the newer Speed Passions et al (like last 3 months) were a little bit different or not?

Sorry another mad question, are there any particular programmes we should be looking at for using 10.5's or any idea of a safe starting point for 10.5's?

Thank you all for the great software it's gonna be fun testing it out.

quick question. Is there a reason as to why setting 15 on mine only has 6 settings? is this correct? Ive set it to 6 for initial tests tomorrow (highest setting as suggested).

Also the Time / RPM Delay. Does the boost kick in when both parameters have been met, or just one of them? or once it gets to set RPM there is the Delay before the supercharge kicks in..

cherry:
start with the boost and punch very low for 10.5, and keep a close eye on temps as you carefully bump up the boost to your liking. 10.5 is right on the line between "boost will only make it run hotter" and "there might be some benefits in isolated cases".

As to different update times - I would suspect it has more to do with what else your computer is doing at that particular time? I've never noticed a big difference between individual units, but do regularly notice that updating is sometimes lickety split, and sometimes longer than my patience can hold up for Over the last few days I've updated a whole lot of test units (nothing much else to do in the rain) spanning from the original 2.0 prototype to a brand new 2.1 and haven't seen that.

geubes:
yes, that's "normal" right now. Not sure if it was an oversight in software, or intended to be so. I'd like to see more than 6 choices for such an important setting, so I'll go over it with engineering on Mon.

Time/RPM delay:
At the moment, I believe the two are linked to where both parameters must be met for the Supercharger to engage. I'll confirm that later today - it's finally stopped raining here so it's off the bench and onto the track today.

Haven't a clue how I have offended you Charlie but if you would take the time to read back I have NOT been trolling here.

I suppose this post will get me banned / suspended but it would be nice to know for what though?

Oh well.

Someone is having problems updating the SP 2,1? On 2 of them i receive an error while over a 2,0Pro the firmware has been updated without problems.
Thank you
EDIT:
Solved! Everything is working now

I hope others are having better luck than me with new s/w. I have geared from a 4.5-7.0 started with the recomended setting and ended up maxing it out. with it maxed out and geared to a 5.2 is the best lap times, but still not as good of lap times as the 107 with a 4.9 fdr. Any suggestions? Freespooling it on the bench it sounds VERY fast, but it just doesnt have it on the track. I went down a tooth and up on the motor timing, fixing to run the first heat now, will post after.
