Default caster grenade motor

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Grenade motors crank is the same/compatible with the GX motors, think my pin is worn as ive changed the conrod and still have a lot of slop on the bottom of the stroke.

Yes, as long as it is a .21 a Gx crank will work great. I have 2 Mg66 replacement coated cranks. They are the same as the Gx but with some weight cut out on the backside of the countereight.

Are you parting out the MG66 engines Rex?
It's a shame to see you lose money on them.
I thought you could at least break even on
that venture.

No, I still have one Mg66 I need to get rid of. The crank is a replacement crank in a package.

I'm probly going to need to replace the crank
in the Clockwork 7port sometime this coming
season. But it would have to be re-timed and
filled by Neal anyways. Have you had the chance
to check out if there is has been any timing changes
made to the MG66 crank? If so please PM me the numbers.

Hey Rex, I have 3 go motors 2 21's and 1 25. all 3 of them have less than a gallon on them, I have the R-21 and a B21 which of these 2 is better? Can you still mod these if they are worth it? and the 25 I use in my truggy can it also be modded.
Thanks in advance
Jim

All of them can be modded, the .25 with some timing changes top ends very well. Do you know how many ports the .21's are? what color head.

They both have the red head and they are both 3 port engines. one of them has a silver crank case and the other is black.
Thanks Jim
ps the serial numbers are US0000470 silver case and the other is US0000566. Any idea why they changed colors???

I did it did not work well for me it seem like it was holding the motor back and it got poor fuel mileage . i when with a ofna 086 much better power and about 10-11 mins on a tank.
