you will probably find that once you have done the fuel tube mod for orings you wont use orings any more i know my self since doing that to the carbies i done even bother or very rarely even check anymore as it is always good

A-main may have the new Nitrile o-rings and didn't update the picture yet. All of the o-rings Trey (Go Usa) has gotten since last fall are the black nitrile ones.

+1 on that Rex. I don't think the factory make the old chocolate coloured O Rings any more. Everything is nitrile rubber now - and they do last so much better.

well Grizz, you were right. When you hit the 20 tank mark the mg66 really starts to make some serious power. Have you tried the new needles from massive? If so what's the benefit? Even tho the engines are touchy as far as adjustments once they are on it will not come out of tune. I put in the extra shim and am running byrons 30%. head temps hanging around 220-240,pipe I am not to sure. I think it's running a little hotter. But because of the shiny coating an accurate reading is almost impossible.

BigMat the needles are designed to give a more gradual tuning ie 1 hour becomes 2 hours . But if im not mistaken Trey should have some MM HSN needles in stock from the factory. The LSN design hasnt been sent to the factory yet so they are only avail from us..

Is the MG66 meant to be tuned from the bottom end?

I heard you tune the bottom like how you would normaly tune the top end.

I got some of mark's modded needles coming soon so I'll post some thoughts once I try them.Just ordered 2 more MG666's ()for our club.Oh and I been paintin again..

Yes all MG and GX engines get better results tuning from the LSN first . The MM HSN and LSN will mean you have to turn more and have more of a gradual needle as opposed to a sensitive one ..

Actually matt I'm in the middle of lambing so I'm up every 3 hours round the clock for the last 3 weeks or so.2 on bottles and a load more to check on especially since it went waaaaaaaay below zero again.So I gotta fill in the time between feeds.So I fettle the buggy and paint shells...I actually have about 9 shells I bought for peanuts on ebay at xmas as practise shells cause they are almost all 300mm onroad bodies which are silly wide and long but no deeper than the buggy bodies..probably less, so I can almost climb in to cut masking and practice drop shadows and carbon fibre..Buggy's are absolutely the worst thing to paint..cramped,awkward, and no real hood at the front to flow a proper graphic from.It's all tight curves and impossible corners.
