genius 120 gen 2 if totally new, not only a new software

that software won't work for gen1 speedos.

there won't be anything newer than 7.x for the gen1 speedo.

cheers for the update and for bringing the fact up to date.

sorry about that, but this thread has 83 pages? I had a quick flip through the more recent pages and must have missed it.

i am sure you do not expect people coming in here to trawl through all the pages just to find out the above fact.

only at GM.

Martin wrote something about new GM's but they are still unavailable at
stores maybe they will be updatable by owner or maybe not...

Cheers Martin for the above.

My question and before M Abrams decide to 'shell' me again, I do not think I have read this anywhere.

Can the above be used with firmware 7.0?

If I have a second hand Genius 120 FW7.0, is there anyway that I can find out if any of the modes have already been copied over? Or is it better if I just do a reset and start from factory setings?

Picture is for new version, I don't know if it will be updatable by owner or
again by GM. Martin wrote some, and main eng. Ralf wrote some
Who know who has right

This is old one:

About your 7.0 ver, just do reset and try mode 6 or mode 8 (more rpms but
will be hot!). I know that settings from 7.2 maybe will work or maybe not.

GM made some updates and sometimes everything change

Btw, if you have USB interface, can you post downloaded data from mode 6 and mode 8?

Regards!
m.

ps: will not "shell" you
