lucky you, im back to the originals without one problem. im surprised yours held up with that many oil changes. mine was one and done =/ then the others just leaked, nothing stripped though. im not sure where the oil came from but its not from the bottom of the shock.
I've raced them for 4-5 weeks on a offroad carpet track, not exactly easy on parts....
I have one cap that has a slight leak out of the screw hole, just enough to see the oil on the cap, and the screws were never "tight" they just kept spinning(only one leaks a bit). but they make building shocks soooo much easier

Hey Mike, i'm using the bleeder caps. Bought em at Trackside. They were really nice. Makes building the shocks a little easier. Stop by my pits at the next Saturday Night Fever race and you can check em out.

Several years ago I used Yokomo shock caps on my AE shocks, which also had a bleeder screw and they never leaked. I haven't gotten the new caps yet, but I don't expect any problems with them.
Is there a chance you overfilled the shock? Maybe stripped the cap when tightening the bleeder screw? I could see them leaking in that case.
They've been on backorder at AE for a while now. I imagine another shipment of them should be arriving soon.
I was told by Brent that VCS2 shock caps won't work because the piston will crash into the bladder at full compression and tear the bladder.

this shows where the old and new dots are located. The large old dots are recessed into the clip, where the new smaller dots are bumps on the clip.

is it posable to use the B44 rear dogbones+axles in the B4. i like the B44 axles as the have the ring collar to keep the cvd pin from flying out if the set screw in not tight all the way.
thanks

Hey guys...
I'm running the Maifield Lightweight Setup on my B4 currently and it's ALMOST perfect...
I would however like a little bit more on-power steering...
Got any ideas how to get it without affecting much else in the way the car handles?

he didnt even fill out half the sheet WTF
you have to google an image of his car and you will be able to get the rest of the setup of it. The amount of weight and weight placement he adds is interesting. I tried that very setup with the correct weight and the car pushed too much.

Got them on my T4 B44 B4, work great a lot easier to get the same rebound all round and IMO better quality then the old caps, they go on much nicer and freely. Haven't had a single leak or stripped thread.

Im going to be getting a rc10t4 within a week. Never owned one before. Whats some things i need to do with this vehicle. Are the stock shocks any good? And what upgrades does it need? I only want upgrades that will make it perform better i dont care about looks. Thanks. If you could send it through pm because i will probably lose this thread!
