No, it doesnt lessen the life. My temp's were about he same 230 deg after full race driving on a track with both pipes perfectly tuned. its all about he air fuel ratio. one pipe might flow a lot more air through the system, needing more fuel for proper combustion ratio. Another pipe might flow less air through the system requiring less fuel to have the SAME air/fuel ratio. The fuel and air mixture will be the same in the end. same oil, same fuel same air.

still think the 2013 is king, I have not and I dont remember anyone else trying the 2039 on here yet. I owuld stick to what works, SO far myself an many others have done a lot of teseting on pipes for the b5, Myself KORTZ and many other still like the 2013 best and 2057, and a lot of guys like the 2035. I would stick with one of those. Since theresults are going to be good. BUt also its personal preference, myself on a truggy I think the 2013 especially is THE pipe, becasue it is much punchier and powerful of the group on bottom end than the others and still has I think the best top as well,...Its a great enigine you will love it!

Engine 1: I paid someone to idle 1 gallon of fuel through it keeping the temps at 200 because I was out of town for work and needed it to be ready to race that weekend.

Engine 2: I idled 5 tanks through it and put it on the ground and started doing the heat cycle method.

Engine 3: The back up engine was broken in on the box and put back in the box after 1 gallon of fuel.

All the engines perform the same and I have raced the hell out of them since they came out even running engine one 7 straight weeks with no issues.

Have not seen a dyno, but I can tell you these engine put out top class power! I have not used ANY engine that had as much snap as the B5, I always had to mess with the clutch to try and get extra punch.NOt with the B5 I just put regular 1.0 springs in and either carbon or alum shoes and BAM!!! I used to run SIRIO CL7BSTI and this has more punch and same top. I also had vspecs and trinity extechs. top was great on all of them but low mid the B5 killed 'em!!

Has anyone used one of these in a truggy? I was thinking of trying a couple of these motors out but don't know a lot about them.

Bought hyper 9,early jan.bought jx21 used rebuilt it. Just finished breaking it in.Halfway through started reading this thread.Impressed with WERKS representation,on a level not seen from big company.Idid't need a new mill, would have had v-spec as backup to jx.The commitment WERKS put forward, forced me to buy B5.AND ITS 50.00 CHEAPER THAN REBUILT jx.Got the hyper 9,got KORTZ engine,Just need his setup.Ofna is not as customer motivated as WERKS.
