Got the engine on Friday and this thing oozes quality. I like the spring attachment locations but I'm not sure where to buy that size. Does anyone know of a part #?

And awesome job to you too! Thank you for representing! I talked to Kortz thus evening and he was extremely happy to start off the year winning the first mayor race if the year! He was running the same old composite carbed B5 that he ran at the Nats lol! So if you want an idea of the longevity of the $199 B5 thats a good clue! A great start to 2010 and hopefully the first of many wins for us this year!!

not calling you a lair ,but i was at a big race with pro racer there , they had a least 4 engines ready to drop in. Myself dont pay much a attention to pro. They are just very good drivers advertising new or not out yet products.
side note i started using werks fuel ,very nice leaves the engine nicely oiled after use.

I got a reply from Jonathan Bell. He stated the B5 coupled with the 2053 pipe is giving him run times flirting with 11 mins. He said he is messing with Odonnells 97t plug witch so far is paying off. So looks like the 2053 is gonna give me the smooth power delivery I was looking for but at the expence of some power. This is a trade off I will accept. Looks like I'm getting a Werks B5, now I gotta remove the old GRP and Rossi stickers off the old war wagon

Lol, he has a selection of engines, all old. I was supposed to send him new motors to break in for the race and for the pre worlds but my shipment showed up late and if you know him, he hates breaking in engines at big races. Trust me I got the call afterwards, "Youre killllling me! My motor is worn out. I got no bottom end!" That's the thing about pros, they make things look good!

On a side note what do you think of the fuel compared to what you used to run?

I just started running the Werks 30% too in my B7 and it werks great! The B7 has approx 10 plus gallons and stiil running great and never letting me down in the 20 to 30 min plus mains.I did put in a new con rod and front bearing just for the heck of it. I will be breaking in my new B5 this and running it in the truggy and switching the B7 to the buggy. Cant wait to see how the B5 does in the trug on our fairly tight track.

Love the werks engines!!!

just a guess, here, but i'd start by 1)getting rid of the dynamite engine and getting a werks b5, and 2)winning races with your new b5
