Yeah, I'm not bashing O.S. too hard. (though I did have off track issues with them) On the track they were great.

Werks works. Just does... I've had 0 issues. I think you can look throughout the 77 pages and you can see everyone has had the same result.

I am thinking to buy the Werks B5, I just saw that the new ceramic bearing came out. Do you think is better to do that upgrade to the engine.
Does anyone have change the bearing and experiment a improvement on the performace of the engine.

The ninja engines are good and the plus +4 are good too The Werks B5 will have more bottom end than both and the same top end. The +4's are really picky on the tuning in my experience and have a very small window for it to run good with the needle settings. The B5 is Cheaper,Easy to tune and will run great even if you are not perfect on the tune and be actually faster on the bottom and just as fast on top. Also you wont need to replace your rod and possible bearings like on some other engines after there long break in... Basically the Werks performs like a $400 engine and costs $200.. and are easier to break in,tune and dont need rods and bearings replaced shortly after break in......To me its a no brainer

Currently running Tuned GRP .21, love the power delivery, nice and smooth. I am getting really tired of hunting down P/S/R for it so need a new mill. This engine's price and reviews look really good. How is the power delivery( I understand clutch set up will greatly affect this) I like the GRP's smooth delivery, wanting more grunt down low.

Upgrading an engine to have a ceramic rear bearing is never a bad thing but it is not a necessity. I would recommend that you try the engine stock first and see if this is sufficient power for you. If you want a little bit more you can always add the ceramic rear bearing lol!

Ron

I'm not trying to make any enemies here but I'm going to be upfront and say that the GRP's were really smooth because they honestly are not very powerful motors. The B5 will have more power overall than the old GRP motors and definitely more bottom end than what you have had in the past. Hope this helps!

Regards,

Ron

Thanks, I agree a lot less expensive and fast enough. I have have been reading the other posts. Sounds like a sweet motor. I also like the fact the owner of Werks is on here often and can help out for tuning questions or any problems I might have. Cool to see an owner helping out racers. I think Im going to buy one today. Amain has them and the pipes to. Cant wait. Overnight shipping rules

Yeah, Ron does an awesome job taking care of us. Not just the team drivers but the general public... try and get that anywhere...

Werks B5/2013 combo is sick and sounds even sicker on the track...lol

I know my g/f who is also my pitgirl...lol gotta be nice... but she loves the sound b/c she can tell where i'm at on the track anywhere... which is nice...

Exactly! most of the time smooth means slower, thats what makes it feel smooth. BUt I would rather have all the power if I want it and be able to by clutch ,pipe and venturi choice make it how I want it either balls out or tamed down. Rather than no matter what I do not have enough!! lol....
