thats what we ran on both the regular one and the modded one and they worked great. that is the pipe chad recommended when we bought our. all i use is the 053 or jp3 on all my engines. those two pipes are very similar.

I have read this entire thread and the 2013 is the best. Many people do like the 053 due to cost and is very close to the 2013. I have never ran the 053 but I can say that any other pipe I have tried I have put the 2013 right back on after a lap or so.

The 2013 pipe is a lot of dough. Almost not worth it due to how weak the pipe is for durability. Mine looks like someone set it on a driving range and went town on it.

Marcus did you get a extech. The next time we race together you can try out my beat up 2013 and compare them.

One thing to think about is when trinity sold the Nitro Box (Engine, Clutch, Pipe) it came with the 2013. They matched the pipe to the engine thus giving it the best performance.

I got one for my Truggy from Ronnie H. new in the box for a great price, I hate to give up on my OPS but it is tired. I know you like yours, I just hope mine runs that good. I will be at ET Sunday for the day after Supercross race and Sunlakes on the 22nd and I want to race the ACS at SRS, I am sure I will see you around.

the 2013 is probably the better pipe for the engine but with some tuning the 053 works great also. its alot cheaper and alot more durable. thats why i run them.

the biggest difference though is when i put the OS v-spec carb on it because the trinity carbs was leaking. it ran a whole lot better after that. it idled alot smoother too.

Sounds good. Whatever you do NO after run oil. Dont be surprised if you cant get the temp over 200. Mine runs at 175 all day even after a 15 min main.

Just the other day I broke my cooling head right when I got to Canyon Vista. I wanted to race really bad so I raced the entire night without a cooling head.

It temped at 205 the entire night. Not the smartest thing to do but it ran fine.

I will put my Nova +4 carb on the motor before I ever run it. I have a Fusion motorsports Modded Werks B3 with a Nova carb on it and it rips and runs great. Sirio carbs suck IMO.

Just get a cheap O'donnell cooling head for Novarossi, it is the same bolt pattern. I run a Novarossi B-Mods head on my Werks motor and it fits great. I have the Werks head if you want it I will give it to James.

I saw that on Amain the other day. Dont know if I trust it though. It does have the re-enforced stinger that I can see. Its still a lot of dough. You can almost get 2 of the 053 for one 2013. I guess if comes down to what you want. If I buy another extech I might look into it.

Thanks Marcus. I may need it eventually. I was lucky and found someone in tucson that had an extech head that was used but looked better than mine. I got for $20.00. Couldnt beat that price.

Quick question guys. This is my first Pre Run motor, how much fuel should I run before I race or is it ready? Thanks
