hey guy's

just got a new 21 full mod extech.

what are your suggestions for reducer size and pipe and what kind of runtimes are you experiencing with this engine.

If you can find a carb restrictor anywhere, a 6mm would probably be just right for the buggy. I could only find a 7mm Orion restrictor, and that one helped only slightly over the 8mm that comes with the engine. The best pipe for this engine is the EFRA 2013. I've tried many different pipes, and this one brings the engine alive better than any others I tried. Run times are not very respectible though. You're probably looking at somewhere in the 8 minute range. The most I could ever get out of it was 8:15, and that was in practice.

yeah that's what i figured...

lot's of power not to much runtime , will try both ft2035 and the werks/sirio 2013 pipe...

found restrictors on ebay. just search for "sirio" . The Guy is from macau an has a complete set from 5,5 to 9mm and it's cheap to..

anyone running the 2056 or the 2057??

I tried the 2057 in the truggy with the fully-modded 24 and it wasn't as good as the AE/Thunder Tiger EFRA 2035 pipe. The EFRA 2056 ("Big Boy") pipe seemed to really weaken the performance of my fully-modded 21 to the point where I pulled it off after a few laps and changed back to the 2013.

Default motor

Ran the full mod EXTECH 2 .21 with 053 pipe at ET Motopark in my truggy on Sunday and the thing just rips. I had to go to 1.1 springs because the motor wanted a little spool time but after that it was Dialed. I got 4th at the Day after Supercross race at ET behind Maifield, Peck, and Jerell Grey. The track has a 120ft straight and no one pulled me. I talked to ED and he told me to run the P4 plug. The motor went the 6min in qualifing and still had a 1/4 tank with the stock restrictor, with a little work I will get good fuel mileage.

Well, almost a full gallon through my extech .21 now, and I must say I am very pleased, break in was easy, no problems or flameouts or anything, very nice. First full race day this past saturday, ran strong all day, you can tell on the back straight that my mill still has a very strong pinch, not quite fully open yet. Ran P4 plug, 6.5 restrictor, and Big Boy pipe, and of course 30% Platinum. She started getting with it in the main and I was very happy with the powerband.

I really like the 97t or 77t depending on temps. What size is the front bearing on the .24? And rear to while I'm at it I guess.

7x19x6 front, and I think 14.2x25.3 rear

Default Carburetor Dust Boot

Has anyone had to replace their carb dust boot on their ExTech? If so what did you use. I can't find a Trinity or Sirio one and the Werks one is on back order. Has anyone tried anything else I searched carb boot on this thread and didn't come up with anything.

Thank you
