With 1-2 big races every weekend in Cali our club racing scene is almost non-existant.

i went up to cali for the first time in nov for the sidewinder race and that was a lot of fun. Im considering doing the jbrl but 9 hour round trip in one day will suck

as far as our club race scene, its starting to die, there is a lot of fighting of some track people and people are picking sides. we still are having 3-4 heats every sat but it used to be 8-9 FULL Heats. hoping the economy has something to do about it to.

Sidewinder race was good, but flame out flame outs flame outs.......It happenend from the D main in sportsman to the pro a mains.
JBRL races are okay, never really ran more than 2 races because of some sandbaggers, but that is another story.

tc5 man, nothing is going to happen if you complain about electric 1/8 racing with nitro on free internet forums. TALK TO THE RACE DIRECTOR.

May I suggest another great site where you will be with your own people?

THERE IS A SEPERATE CLASS FOR ELECTRIC!!!!!! Look in the ROAR rulebook, they have different series races, different ROAR nationals, etc.

lol, thats all cali is.

As far as flameouts, me and my dad were lucky. he flamed out once on his first qualifer because i turned his idle down when his engine was cold and that was bad lol. i didnt flame at all until my race counted, like 3 laps into the bmain i flamed because of my idle. latley ive been cursed and been flaming out in mains, it will idle great in qualifing but in the mains usually right after warm up i flame even if weather isnt changing and im not changing the tune, it stopped doing that last 2 times i was out but we will see this weekend
