If your running 25 - 30% nitro you might like to try a cooler plug. The P3 is an ultra hot plug. Try the O'Donnell 77T (hot) or 97T (med), or the new GO T4 (med hot).
With high nitro content a cooler plug can work better.

Howdy All

FYI

The new HSN needle is being sent to various distributors to see the difference in tuning. The new HSN needle is designed to have a broader sweep which will make it less sensitive.

Re Carb

id be opting for a new GX carb as opposed to rebuilding your existing one , especially if it has the wiggle. OR just use the RB or OS carb you have .

Hiya Massive. Just to confirm the new HSN needle is for the MG66 only - yes ?
It is a tad touchy on the top end I must admit

Trey,

Please give him a call. I am not sure what the problem is, but he told me he was waiting on you to contact him, if I understood correctly. Anyway.

mark..you making these available for general sale? If so put one aside for me and I'll put in an order just after Christmas for a bunch of stuff...
ps got my new diff housings and OH! what a difference..had to practically hammer the bearings in and remove 3 of 4 diff shims as well..guess the tolerances were improved as well as the materials..this should stop the MG66 destroying drive pinions anyway.....

No, the new needle i designed will be for the whole Go GX range and MG66 . They are retrofittable to gen 5 range as well. You can simply remove the original HSN needle and put the new one in . The MG and GX carb are the same except for LSN options . The MG carbs all come with long LSN needle. As previously stated once you set your LSN you rarely have to touch it again, you only have to do small changes on the HSN for day to day enviroment.

We are waiting on stock so keep an eye on the site.

Thank you for that very sincere sympathy..NOT well at least I found the problem before the new years racing starts..the harder compound diff housing is streets tighter tolerances than the old one I fitted...and as if the rain isn't enough we just heard we will probably be losing all our track parking and eating area to bloody solar panels as the village have decided to rent the rest of the land to the electric board...sigh..maybe if they dig out enough foundations we can fill in the dip right in front of the circuit and have the parking there..

even worse the aeromedelisme club from the next town have lost their land next to the aerodrome so are looking to sneak into the village too but federation rules forbid opening any R/C club within 5 miles of an existing one to avoid obvious frequency clashes..so first they suggest we should all go spektrum 2.4ghz so we don't get problems(at our own expense naturally) and today we found out they have been secretly proposing we merge the two clubs and move to a new site they have in mind at some disused quarry..Just what I fancied was dismantling 3 years work and moving the track to a site less convenient and further from home..I think F.O.A.D is my favored response.......

sorry off topic but I needed a rant
