I would get some grippy rubber sheeting and put a layer under the battery.

I have this great stuff in the boot of my car which stops stuff from sliding around, although its pretty thick and would make the battery sit a touch higher.

I would think 3m double sided tape (like scotch tape but sticky on both sides) would work well. You would have to reapply it every time you took the battery out however.

Thats how mine is as well except I have servo tape holding the lexan and I only have one layer of lexan. HTH

Any specific type of file, If I remember correctly there are different corses for files?

I CA'd the countersunk holes and I had a hard time getting the screws out. And yes the CA had completely dried. It was like I had used locktite on the screws.

are you guys really still ca'ing the chassis? i've heard some do and some don't. i used to do it on all my cars but the last couple i didn't and i've had no problems with anything.

I stopped at the local drug store and picked up some nail files. They were cheap and they seemed to do the job. This is my first time doing it so their may be a better idea but it seemed to do the trick.

Hey Guys I use these little rubber bumpers. You can get them at most houseware stores or walmart.. Just tape the pack in the car, get it centered and stick them in place. Works pretty good the pack dont move around. I was not a fan of the lexan bit.. So this is what I came up with..

They measure around 10mm. They were in a assortment pack. I bought 1 of every kind they had to get the right ones.. These are the flat ones. Dont get the rounded ones, they are to fat..

Never had that happen in 20+ years of RC. Always used thin CA with a Q-tip and applied before putting the screws in .
