Yes, Sorry. 10* blocks and 6.15* in shims.

Battery foward.

I was wondering how you went with runtime, were you getting close to using capacity, and was that with a receiver pack?

Thanks,

No problems with run time for the next race I will run a 4.0
No I ran the novak booster in the 1/12th car

Hello Walter.

I noticed that you qualified ninth overall and 2 laps off the pace of TQ. Were you down on horespower or was the car just not very good. I always remember you being much quicker with brushed motors.

Hey guys, I have a Futaba 9650 servo in my 12r5. I just got my ESC wired up and went to attach the servo saver, and I can't get it on. What servo saver have you guys been using? Kimbrough medium?

Nevermind. The stock one is for Airtronics. I just need to get the Futaba one.

Ran the new car at The Gate in Cleveland yesterday. The car was very good right out of the box. Really didn't make any changes I hadn't raced since the champs. The one thing I did notice with the lipos is if you hit something it takes a lot longer to come up to speed. It also seemed like in the last two minutes the car flattened out, but the lap times didn't show it. Ran old tires from last year Parma purple and grey and like I said the car worked very well. I got a good baseline for laptimes so next time will start making changes. I also ran Jack and the car showed no signs of losing traction. This was all done with a 17.5 motor. If anybody gets to Cleveland be sure to check out the new and improved Gate it is awsome!

That sounds like a question for Sean Cochran.

After a 15 year hiatus from 1/12th scale, I've got a couple runs under my belt now with the 12r5. Here's what I've found so far. I started out with Sean's last LiPo setup and began making changes from there. The center shock (gold spring)and the side shock I have 40wt Losi in them and the car seems much more driveable now. Gold side springs seemed too much but the blues with some tension on them are pretty solid with this combination. Anyone else running this much dampening in their cars?

I've had some trouble with the yellow rear tires as well. They have great bite but after trying a set of greys the car felt more neutral and stable. The yellows want to roll the rubber off the rims after a few runs too. Is there something that I might be doing wrong or over looking? These are JACO's tires.

Thanks,
Curtis

Thanks ..... what about the SPX. Would you run a similar rollout ? I'm assuming I'd run 2,6,1,1 with that ESC.

The SPX has more timing then the SXX. Would probly have to drop the roll out a touch.

I put the new POD on my 12r5 this past weekend for the first time at the ROAR Nationals. I must say the car was dialed with it. All the room for the motor was awesome. It seems like the new top plate moves the center shock mount forward a bit. Sean would have to say for sure though.

Sean,

Do you leave room for the ackerman adjusters or do you just move it all the way forward?
