REEDY .21 Nitro Engine

Please stop trying to promote yourself. You always say it needs to be modified, when you are an engine modder. Of course you think that. As a consumer, this motor needs no modification. It may not have the same graph results as a speed, but on the track, it does as well of better.

As a consumer myself and running this engine in a truggy It needs modified. The engine would stop revving where others were in the middle of their powerband. Were all glad you love the Reedy engine as it comes out of the box but alot of people like to go faster and win races. You may think this engine is flawless but in reality it has quite a few flaws.

the reedy does not have a ton of top end. It is a stump puller, gobs of torque. I ended up using a 16t bell on my rc8t after installing the reedy. Still has tons of torque and i have run down my fair share of modded piccos, o.s.'s and i believe there was a couple ninjas in there too. I have only used the 2035 pipe and temps were around the 230 area and i think it was a little lean on the bottom. I honestly cannot understand why people are NOT satisfied with this engine. It completely exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to get the "speed" version that Mr. Saxton shows in his video.

The extremely touchy and proprietary carb was enough for me to sell it.

i think i might be in part of a video tho. The video is not focused on me but rather another driver...

I am the truck starting 3rd. white drip to blue to green back... white wheels black wing. Not sure how much you can "infer" from the video but do your best.
If you dont like the motor would you not be better off to sit silently on the sideline then bash it via the internet?
just my 2 cents....

A Tamiya distributor driver here won in truggy with the reedy first time out. He beat a driver that was in the top 25 at the worlds. The Reedy gets the job done. He's won races all summer with it in Buggy and Truggy against stiff competition. I'd have one. My P5 based engine is fine for now. If I wasn't off for school. I'd probably have one. I've been a Nova Rossi fan for 15 years.
Nothing wrong with not liking it though. There is always some one that doesn't like it. That's why there are so many engine companies.

At this point I have about 2 gallons on mine with no complaints. I will say the 121vr really came around at the 1 to 1 1/2 gallon mark. Several have complimented on how it idles, I have been impressed with the consistency throughout a long main.
