Os #8 should be fine , we have run them on our .25.

Here's a pic of Kendall at round 5 of our series, he Tqed all rounds of qualifying in all 3 classes and won buggy and truggy and got 3rd with the new Kyosho Rt5 electric. (crashed on the first lap ouch)

I got 6.5 as the smallest in the MG's box..If not I'll be hunting a 6mm down online..

This is the maddest thing I have ever driven..It screams like a banshee after just 3 liters..pinch feels little reduced from brand new..I think the fact GO relaxed the initial pinch on their motors is a fabulous idea..easier on the starter box and less stress on internals period!

Oh how will I wait 2 gallons for the ceramics etc..more to the point how will I keep it on the ground!
I made the suggestion to go down to 5 , 5.5 and 6 mm venturis about 6 months ago .. I think Simon Yii is designing a new set for the GX range which will be awesome ! ive seen some of his designs so far and they look goood ! Nothing released yet as far as i know .

With the MG66 we will be releasing our own set of venturis for the engine , we have designed a set of 6 for the MG66 . Normally reducing the carb throat gets more thank time but we have peopel getting 11 mins with 8 mm out of the box so i think 6.5 is small enough for this engine.

As far as i know, GX series are 6.5mm, 7mm, 7.5mm and 8mm carb inserts.

Usually on a big track where i practice, i do get 08.45 minutes of runtime, and i tried this :

- 7.5mm venturi
- 1.0 clutch spring (were using 1.1 before)
- VP PRO EFRA 3023 pipe
- 75% carb opening

I ended with 11.15 minutes of runtime on my 7 port engine, and at racing pace i didnt have any problem with RB's, Novas and OS's around me ...

cya !

My Go .25 6-port just came in from AMain. Came with a break-in shim and instructions, but no plug. I must be gettin old...lol... back in the day all of my OS and RB stuff always came in with plugs and accessories. OS #8 it is...medium-hot.

I can't wait to get this thing on the starter box!

HEy Matt

We will open sales to the USA mid Sept . We will have USD Pricing and shipping options avail on the site. Yess all the combos are completely sold out ! took 3 days to sell the first 100 units ..

Hang tight and ill get it on line.

FYI we will also be releasing regional distributors for each country that have stock . So we would like you to support your local MG66 dealer

Cheers MM

Worth the wait Matt

Our NZ distributor sold out his first order within a few days, and their queing up for the next batch Now peope are seeing how easy the motor is to run in, and the performance that's starting to become apparent as they get a few litres through, the second batch will probably go in a similar time frame
