Yeah, I prefer that. I don't like to countersunk the top deck, because it don't fix the problem, it can only make your car always tweaked the same...

What do people think about the three top deck design on the TRF 415? There is a front and rear mini deck and then the large center deck. What do you suppose is the purpose behind this design? Is it to reduce tweak, stiffen or soften the chassis, lower the CG etc?

Just by looking at the pics, it looks like the three deck design allows for easier spur removal and reduces chassis twisting that is common for twin deck chassis.

If what I see is correct removing the spur will just mean removing the layshaft and the spur will fall out.

i find tat the spur gear is too close to the bottom of the lower deck for comfort...

+ there's a opening at the bottom, thus the nitty gritty pebbles might get into the spur gear...

What's up slowhand, so My brother are telling the truth about the TRF 415.

I really wish I could go to Bangkok for the Reedy Race

By the way, looking at the picture, the front and rear belts are adjustable. Niceee....

I might change my ride.... and be in the same Tamiya Team. I'm kind of tired being the only driver running for Losi

Hard front Upright... they already widely available right after 414WCR released.

Yes, better use that countersink washer for the top deck for tweak adjustment.

Looks like the belt tension can be adjusted from pulley placement in bulkhead.. and nice center antenna placement..

Looks like tamiya is now listening to their driver

I don't like the 3 deck architecture, might be a hassle to access the diffs. Plus I don't see any interest except for the look. The top deck could do what the bottom deck does and the center of gavity would not be changed that much.
