But racers buy it as a tuning option not by its look. Looks alright to me. Im just wondering why they did not make it SSG since they started that trend, i mean for its price 58XXX YEN with more hop-ups to buy is a little to stiff in my opinion.

I have no doubts that Tamiya will release the parts in ssg after the release.

I am sure Yokomo started off SSG with the MR4 ssg they did after the worlds. Not sure what model it was. Rick

Depends if you want your car to have more flex...(with SSG)
a lot of the SD SSG users moved to "normal" carbon (yokomo or Rayspeed parts).

It almost looks like the upper decks are 2.5mm and the lower are 3mm. Boy that would be stiff in addition to the 3 decks.

With all the work the did on this car I am surprised they don't countersink the top plate, they took the time and countersunk the bottom chassis .... I hope?

Countersinking the top decks is not a valid solution to prevent tweaking. Indeed, it tweaks the chassis. The only difference is that it tweaks it permanently.

About SSG : sometimes you want your car to be a little softer. A soft car is easier to drive. I stick to the SSG chassis for example. The difference in stiffness does not means it won't be as fast, look at Masami's ride.

Is it me or does the 415 look like a losi with the motor sticking out on the leftside and the cells down the rightside but with 2 belts instead of 1.

No doudt it will cost a fortune in the UK if it ever goes on sale here.

i don't think it will make it here officially, therefore no retail price. but, some shops will sell them for a lot, the wcr were sold for around 500-600
