HEY, I have a GRP.21 & GRP.28 tuned with aprox. 3gallons on each 1. I'm getting ready to install new ceramic bearings in both this weekend. The bearings I bought are TKO ceramics. I noticed the front bearings are rubber sealed on both sides. Should I take the seal off of the inner front bearing so that it can be lubricated thanks

I seal all my engines to prevent any problems. I haven't had and with the 3 grp's I have but I don't want to take the chance. It doesn't matter what engine I run I seal it from the beginning. As for pipe dynamite 086 or 053 the grp 2053 is on the restrictive side and the trinity bad boy pipe was terrible lasted 2 laps and has been new and shiny in my pit box ever since.

Hey guys, silly question here. When you set your idle stop screw, do you set it to the correct spot with the carb restrictors out or with them in? Also, when you change from a 6mm to a 7mm restrictor do you have to readjust your idle? thanks

Which GRP plug do you prefer? The 4 or 5?

I have a tuned .28 and a modded .21. I only sealed both sides of the pinch bold on both engines and they have been perfect so far. i don't have much runtime on them yet. I'll start sealing the carb next time I take them apart, just to be sure.

I just got a 2053 pipe to try on the tuned .28. From what I hear, the pipe holds the engine back a bit, but in exchange you get very good runtime. I first tried a MSR 1005 w/6mm restrictor and was not to impressed. It did run good, but not the power I expected from a 28. The engine was still very tight and should get better as it loosens up. My Powerhouse modded .21 has a JP-1 pipe (recommended) on it. With a 6mm restrictor and the engine is still very tight, preformance was just good. I changed to a 7mm restrictor and have not yet ran it again.

I still have a couple of pipes to try.
2050
2060
might buy an 053

I dont run grp plugs in my tuned anymore , I run o.s. p3's. It seems easier to tune to me with the p3. plus they are alot cheaper. You are correct with the 2053 pipe. Runtime is really good with it
