yes. they are a much tighter fit on the side to side play. we also took some of the runout out of the front bearing the injection mold left .005 to .006 run out and now there is about 2 to 3. i am doing spindles just for the simple fact of buying 1 size outer bearing and that even the front bearings were locking up not blown yet, but on there way out the door for sure. thanks again tix for the tip.

nice work J-DUB
Did you keep the bearing .2mm proud of the hub. I found that of all the ones I have done over time the ones that sat proud .2mm worked the best. It takes up alittle bit of the play so there's alittle less pressure on the bearings
Hopefully Losi will pull there finger out and start making them as a hopup part. That way we won't have to spend so much time machining them up.
Anyone in the US be sure to contact J-DUB for this mid. If your in Australia and want it done I can get it done for you

The arms are made from a different material, so thats why they have different #s. As far as the chassis you don't have to have the new arms, but you do HAVE to have the new mud guards and rear drive shaft. I would get the new servo tray and likage or make your own linkage.
since when do you HAVE to have the new dirt guards ? you can just shave the stock one....and FWIW you do Not Need to buy anything linkages related.....ive rigged up 3 1.0T linkages to work with the 2.0 parts no problem.

+1. Unless you buy the 2.0 radio tray you don't need dirt guards or the linkage. If you want to put the 2.0 tray on all you have to do is cut a lil' out of the radio side dirt guard and get some longer linkage rods, or I'm sure you can make the stock ones reach.

Pretty good 1st outing for the 8T 2.0 at the Nitro Challenge. After Qualifying:
1) Ryan Cavalieri - AE
2) Mike Truhe - Losi/GRP
3) Travis Amezcua - Hot Bodies
4) Adam Drake - Losi/GRP
5) Cody King - Kyosho
6) Ryan Maifield - AE
7) Ty Tessmann - Hot Bodies
8) Jared Tebo - Kyosho
9) Billy Fischer - Losi/Novarossi
10) Philip Atondo - Losi/Novarossi
11) Jesse Robbers - Hot Bodies
12) Martin Bayer - Losi/GRP
13) Yannik Agoin - Losi/Novarossi
6 of the top 13, and 10 in the top 26 (A & B mains). I know there are at least 5 in the Open Truggy A-Main also - not too shabby!

Prolly not. You will spend ALOT to get everything to be 2.0 spec. There are just too many changes made to the truggy to be cost effective to convert it. You are just better off buying a 2.0. I mean they changed chassis, shock setup, arm length, wheel offset, all kinds of geometries, all driveshafts except the from center, etc. Really it is just too much to convert.
