The long bodied plugs wont hurt anything. The extra length is above the taper, it will still seat flush. They are great in weird weather conditions like cold and humid. They can really help the idle on a temperamental motor.

hey i just found out that the Jovanovics are using those plugs and so does a local nova guy here and someone said they are good in humidity so that will suit me

what i have found out, the performance wont be as good as it would if you were using an F. also the C is a touch longer. so im gonna trade a mate of mine who owns a hobby store and races off-road, my C6TGC's for either
C7TGF's or the C7TF
also with the 7 it will be easier to find a sweet spot. and it will run alot smoother.

argh k, well if they dont damage the engine, but im gonna try the 7's and ill tell u how they go, what i have been told is that using 7's will allow the engine to go faster.

The 353 has a different crank with a different size crankpin. Therefore it also has a different conrod (#7602), which btw, is almost twice the price of the regular conrod (#7601) which is in all other .12 NR engines, including the 3SCT.
#3054

by the way, how does the 3sct Tuned stack up against the stock 353?

which pipe combo will be best for medium large track with a 70m straight?
#3055
The connecting rod on a 3sct and 353 are different. These are not interchangable

The 2630 pipe is also good, but makes it a bit more thirsty..

well i have put about 2L on the engine and i can just turn it over by hand with the plug in, and there is no play in the rod, i got a big race this weekend so ill check it for play after then. dont run the C6TGC in ur 3SCT because i think it will damage the engine
plug wise the ones we should have got at are the C6TGF/C&TGF/C5TGF. if you can get the O'donnell 97's or run the C#TGF or the older C#TF.
by the way how is ur 3sct going, have you run it in, and if so can you turn it over by hand with the plug in it.

first time user I have to say that novarossi engines are really well engineered!

Hi everyone,
I have recently purchased two plus 12-3sct's from my lhs. I opened them for checking the internals, and;
saw some tiny spots on top of piston in both of them
a slight stratch on the side of the piston, and slightly gritty feel on the front bearing in one of them.
these things I have mentioned are very little, but I got nervous.
their production year is 2007.
Can they lead to an issue in future? Im going to use them in nationals this year.
Sorry for bad english...
thanks for the replies.
