Its a nic looking car. Glad it worked for you. I think with a few weekends on it at the Altoona track it will only get better for you.

yea it worked pretty good.the only thing i got confused is that i was using lipo battery that boyles let me use.its the carbon ed.3200.after installing all the electronics in it.and then when i went to set ride height.the car had 4.5mm on the battery side.and 5mm on the other side.going to check the lenghts of the shocks.i didnt add weight to the lipo...so something needs tweeked a little.
thx for the hook-up reigle.

I would of liked to run the car but I just don't have anything to run in the car as far as 13.5 wise until Caslte makes their new Sensored speedo plus it is pretty far to race for me when I drive up by myself. I get tires driving home.

So Altoona decided that they will run a spec tire.........The Jaco Greens? If so that is nice that you only need to bring one type of tire to race with. SHould help to save some money.

Well, been awhile since I was thinking of doing VTA

I finally made the move with the car after buying Mike Kazz's STR4 Pro II and his SBV2 Pro.

Very nice vehicle, came with a load of parts and excellent condition.

Setup the vehicle for VTA class and its a blast to drive. Just have to work a bit on planting the rear end alittle more as I have too much steering.

Hopefully there are some others out there soldiering on with the vehicle in VTA, but I'll keep ya posted on how it goes.

Here is whats on my vehicle right now:

Academy STR4 Pro II
- Parma Boss 302 Mustang body
- VTA Legal HPI Tires and Wheels
- Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro ESC (overkill I know, waiting for LPF to come in stock)
- Tekin 21.5 motor
- RFI 4000mah 25C Lipos (Excellent!)
- Airtronics 94357 servo
-Spektrum SR3500 receiver
- Nomadio React radio

It also has some graphite shock towers, not sure what brand they are, but they are nice.

great to see the screw kit support.

From what I can gather, I managed to find 1 setup sheet from a practice session that dave G had done. I hope to gather a bit more as I am liking this car. very durable, and works well for VTA racing.

Next race is the 20th, I plan to setup the 2 cars I have probably starting with daves setup, one with the front oneway, and the other without. Will report back.

I run USVTA class with it and like the car. Its extremely durable, and with a few setup changes (I am thinking I am oversaucing my tires) it handles well for the class.
