The oneways are more tricky to drive under braking and some people prefer a standard diff..you need to try and find what suits you best.
Do you have a pic of the car?..

If you can get a diff for the rear you can run the car with the locked front diff (called a spool in RC talk ). On certain tracks a spool is quite preferred to a oneway or a diff - you will have fantastic brakes with a spool and won't loose much on turn in and will gain in corner and exit speed. Warning though - if you run a spool on a track with solid barriers and you hit things you will tend to break more things. The diff you have will only be suitable to run as a spool if it's the heavy duty (metal) one. The plastic one will not be strong enough as a spool.

Some of the modern Touring Car kits come with a front spool as standard equipment.

I think those parts are for str 4 pro II.

Every parts will be available and there would be improved carbon parts later.

As far as I know, the improved carbon parts will be included in a new version of STR 4 pro II. I think the new version will be available sometime which I don't know when.

I love Academy products. I got my first RC kits 15 years ago and it was Academy kit.

Has any one got an electronic version of the set up sheet for the STR4-Pro11 that you can post on here as an attachment or send me by email. If so I can post some setups on my site so we can start to share teh info a bit better.
