This one here isn't a bad starting point I found at least for VTA, using lighter springs:

I'm prepping an Academy STR4 Pro II for touring car, rubber tyre, carpet racing indoors with 17.5 brushless motors. I've spoken to Cain previously on Oople about it, but are there any decent setups to start with? VTA is a bit different to this format, with foam tyres and GT bodyshells - I'll be on Sorex 28JB premounts with a Alfa Romeo 156 TC shell.

The one time I last tried it, grip roll was terrible, but I've learned a lot about setup since then, and have all the tools now.

Anti-roll bars are virtually impossible to find (certainly not this side of the Atlantic), so I'm hoping to adapt some Tamiya ones. I'll only need one on the front, probably.

How is the car working for you? I have one ready to go for rubber on carpet running a 17.5 also. Any mods that you made to the car to make it work better. Do you have a setup that works yet? I haven't ran mine yet but hoping to this weekend.

I haven't run it yet - my TA05 is the weapon of choice for the moment, and I picked up a TM E4JS cheap too!

Does anyone know if you run a diff front a nd rear and a center oneway on the shaft if it would drive as if you had a spool up front?

Thanks,
Ryan
