hi prime,
first of all some might say there weak i say to them stop hitting shit now thats out of the way!.dont get the e4fs i found that the handing wasnt not as good as the e4 with the alloy bling if i was you i would go the e4rs as i have and found its alot better car then the e4fs as its to stiff for the racing i do i found the more flex to a point i get out of the car the better it is as im a person that loves heaps of steering.the standed set set up that comes in the kit is good the only thing you might do is change to stiffer springs as they might be to soft for mod.stock there ok i was the first to race the e4 at my track now we have 4 going around the track and doing ok but the rs is the pick then ,e4 with the bling the first 1, then the rsfs but this is all down to my style of racing. To wrap this up im sure what ever 1 you get they will perform well happy racing hope i could help.

I personally dont race 540 but i would say start with a 38mm Rollout. If the track you are running on is small gear down if its large gear up.

I would also suggest running the belts in with a faster motor. Put 2 drops of shockoil on each belt and put a couple of packs through the car with the faster motor. Up and down your street would be ok, doesnt need to be on a race track. You will have an awesome drive train if you can do this.

prg:

I have SMC 4000 lipo packs and they fit with no modification, but as the leads come from the side they can be a little bit of a pain to put in.

The other lipo would be the Trinity packs that HarrisRC are selling, little thicker and may need a couple of shims on the top deck to install, but the leads come from the top so should be easier.

Cheers
Aaron

Northern Beaches Hobby Centre in Manly Sydney 02 99711977. Run by Ari and his Dad, whom are also the importers of Team Magic, they'll look after your needs there, and postage is top rate as well, i got a heap of stuff from them two weeks ago for only $10 postage and overnight...
hope this helps you out.

Default E4 Limited Edition For Sale

Unfortunately i have a couple of dramas at the moment and won't be able to race my brand new E4. I have listed for sale on the forum at
http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=220467
My E4 has been built but not raced nor, electrics or motor been installed. This is a forced sale, chance to grab yourself a bargin or prehaps a spare racer/chassis.
Regards
Prime.

I dont know if any of you had problems with the rear belt in mod but i had 2 that stripped , I found a stronger belt its a little wider. I wqill be testing it out tomorow with some mod motors. As you can see in the following pictures the difference between the stock belts and the new belt that i got. I had them made for me and I had to order a few to meet the minimum order so I have a few extras if anyone needs them.
