Some news on the new 3 Port R Spec motor from down under in NZ. First 3 Port to hit the track here raced today, and performed very well. Only just broken in and running a little rich, this motor powered a truggy to 1st in two heats and 2nd in the other. DNF in final due to suspension problems I think.
Even running a little rich the economy was great. 6 min heat left just under 1/2 a tank of gas remaining. Should be awesome when it's leaned out a little more. New owner (not me) was very happy

What is going to be the asking price on the .21 spec R. Is it going come in both turbo and non turbo head? Does it use the same block as the reg 3port? Thanks.

Hi, i'm about to buy a GO Tech 5 Port Engine (Standard), I have a JP-1 and a JP-4 pipes, which one should I use on this 5 port engine? also, I want to buy the Go Tech 6 Glow Plug Kit, should I stick with the #5 (medium) or go with the #6 (cold)?

Thanks! going to run this on a HoBao hyper 8.5 buggy!

I would go turbo if you have the chance. Also if you can get there pipe that would be good. Also since this engine is a bottom end engine I wouldn't use a bottom end pipe.

Gas mileage, more consistent glow plugs last longer and maybe a little bit more power.Plus theres only a 10 dollar difference.

the JP4 pipe will work the best out of your pipes, the JP1 is not a good pipe for the Go engines...i suggest a turbo, but if you are intent on a standard plug engine, but i would stick with the #5...

The reason I want to run the Standard is because my dad ordered 3 days ago the Go Tech 5 Port Standard, and I would like to share glow plugs with him.
